From Bermuda’s Fairways to Bigger Futures
Beyond the Fairways is creating pathways for Bermudian youth through access, mentorship, education and opportunity.
Founded by Quinton Sherlock Jr., Daniel Augustus, Ebonie Cox and Arriek Douglas, Beyond the Fairways combines elite playing experience, coaching expertise and community leadership to make golf more accessible, inclusive and impactful across Bermuda.
“We’ve lived the journey. We understand both the opportunities the game can create and the barriers that can stand in the way. Beyond the Fairways is about widening that pathway, ensuring more young Bermudians can access the game, stay in the game and benefit from everything it has to offer.” - The Founders
Why This Matters in Bermuda
Golf is one of the truest reflections of life; a pursuit defined by discipline, resilience, humility and perseverance. Like life, the game is unpredictable, demanding patience through adversity and composure through triumph. Within a supportive and nurturing environment, golf cultivates character, integrity and confidence, equipping young people with the values and perspective to grow into principled leaders within their communities. Beyond competition, the game has the power to broaden horizons, inspire ambition and open pathways to opportunities that extend far beyond the fairways themselves.
Our Pillars of Purpose
Access
Development
Opportunity
Financial circumstances should not inhibit Bermuda’s youth from having access to the highest quality of coaching, education and mentorship. Beyond the Fairways is determined to bridge that gap.
Our youth will grow to be more than golfers; to be leaders amongst their peers. They will embody the qualities of the game: integrity, perseverance and respect to name a few.
To broaden their world view. Providing a platform for our youth to excel in and outside of the sport. From competition to education, Beyond the Fairways provides avenues for our youth to succeed.

Quinton Sherlock was born in Bermuda, developed his skills and went on to play collegiate golf at Alabama State University. He holds a master’s degree in psychology and is the only fully certified Golfzon Leadbetter Instructor on the island.
Quinton resided in Ghana, West Africa for approximately 12 years. There he co-founded a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that assists less privileged young people with their basic education and introduces them to golf.
Ebonie Cox
One of Bermuda's leading women golfers, Ebonie Cox began her journey in the island's junior ranks and went on to win multiple ladies' Match Play titles, make history in 2022 as the first woman to tee off in the Johnnie Walker Classic, and represent Bermuda on the inaugural Sapphire Golf Tour in 2025. A Top 50 Certified Instructor of Operation 36 and Golf Development Officer at the Bermuda Golf Association, she leads Beyond The Fairways' Novice Division, guiding young Bermudians through their very first steps into the game.
Daniel Augustus IV
A professional since 2010, Daniel Augustus IV brings a wealth of competitive experience to Beyond The Fairways. He won the Bermuda Open in 2012, earned his place in the field for the inaugural Bermuda Championship at Port Royal in 2019, and has claimed titles across the United States and on England's Clutch Pro Tour, most recently capturing the 2025 Gosling's Moongate Tour Championship, all while pursuing his goal of reaching the PGA Tour. He heads the Tournament Player Division, preparing Bermuda's most committed young golfers for high-level competition.
Arriek Douglas
A dedicated coach and lifelong student of the game, Arriek began his golf journey as a junior right here in Bermuda, eventually earning the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level for Jackson State University and Hampton University, where he also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
